(NEWTRAC) Nevada World Trade Council has confirmed Director General of KOTRA (Korean Trade-Investment Promotion Agency), Mr. Wonsuk Yun, to be the keynote speaker for World Trade Day to be held on May 26, 2011.  The Director General will address “Trade with Korea and the impact of the new Free Trade Agreement with Korea”

In October of 2010 NEWTRAC launched a Peer-to-Peer Collaboration Forum. The forum provides an opportunity for business executives involved in international trade and commerce to share their knowledge and expertise in the area of global business.

Our goal is to maintain an exclusive group of business executives to network and to get to know each other personally as well as professionally. Invited members of the international business community meet every 4-6 weeks and include representatives from logistics service providers, defense IT and logistics, manufacturing, agriculture distribution, high-tech electronics, supply chain consulting and academics.

The discussion focuses on successes achieved and challenges facing small to mid-sized companies with a presence in Northern Nevada conducting business abroad. This forum provides a unique networking opportunity to connect with peers and advance knowledge in cross-border business matters.
